I have been trying to track down an old shipmate, Bob Bottomley, for some considerable time.

This morning I received a letter saying Bob passed away several years ago.

RIP Bob.

Bob was one of the 'characters' I had the pleasure of serving with at Cochrane and Condor. Even at that time he was undergoing lots of medical treatments and didn't keep all that well.  This never stopped him socialising and laughing with the lads (only lads then), and we had many a good run ashore...

RIP my old mate..
