Ladies and Gents
Many of you may remember Chris Piggin as a euph/cello player from Dartmouth, Fleet and Portsmouth Bands from 1988 - about 1998. Like many of us, Chris swapped his white helmet for a blue one when he left the RMBS.
Chris and 2 colleagues are starting a charity bike ride on Saturday 27th June 2009 from John O'Groats to Lands End in aid of the Cancer Research. There can't be many people who don't know someone who's life has been blighted by this awful disease and anything that we can do to help raise cash in order to help beat it has to be worthwhile.
Chris and his chums will be riding something like 110 - 120 miles a day, which is no mean feat, especially when you are the wrong side of 40 (they will thank me for that one!
Chris and co have their own web page at justgiving, so please take a look and dig deep. They have set themselves a modest target that I am sure they will easily beat with a little help from friends.
