I just watched on youtube the 6 part showing of the Edinborough Military Tattoo 2008.  It was quite the sight.

I intend to buy the dvd when it's released. I've got the one from 2005 and it shows the whole performance (not just the televised edited bits) and you also get the option of watching with or without commentry. A very good buy indeed.

It was a great show although there were some highlights and some lowlights... you decide which was which

I was able to watch the Highlights on Bank Holiday Monday and thought it was a brilliant show. The diversity of the RMB never ceases to amaze..well done. I too will be buying the DVD on its release.

Watched it at my mates before Pompey on the box. As usual the BBC cut about two thirds of the show out. I bought the CD the other week and they've even cut out half of the drum display on that.  
Now THAT is a bloody digrace.
