When I was lying in the hedgerows in South Armagh for 48hrs at a time, I just had to make do wi the odd raw rat as they scurried past me without being able to detect my camouflage cover..
Did I ever tell you about the time...........

I think I might have cocked up actually
I was (mis)informed that that was the purpose of puttees - so you didn't get caught with your combats down - rather fell for that one didn't I?
Most times (the balcony wasn't the ONLY op I did you know) I could hold it in, but others? Well let's just say I wasn't the most popular man in the room when we got back for a shower...
