This may sound like a rather stupid question but I am slightly confused due to conflicting information...
Are we, or are we not supposed to take instruments on Monday when we are due to start basic training?
Thankyou!!! |

you will be issued instruments when the instructors are ready for you to have them. You will have plenty of other things to be getting on with for the first few weeks don't worry. The instructors like to keep you 'on your toes' shall we say, muaah hah haah haaah haaaaaaaaahhhhh _________________ Cheers

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day drinking beer. |

Instruments tend to get damaged in bergens anyway!
you can bring your own stuff once you return from leave.
Admin will probably answer this thread and give you the definitive answer, but if I were you I would leave it at home for the time being _________________ Cheers

Good question Fizzie - I was going to ask the same thing!
I understand that we will have little or no time for playing, but it would be great to have a quick blast if ever there was a spare 5 mins here or there. |

you'll need to eat properly to keep your energy levels up, it'll help to stop you getting too many injuries.
DON'T skip meals ... the worst thing you could do _________________ Cheers

| Don't worry - I can eat for England - I would never skip a meal even if I was just sitting all day, let alone training in the Royal Marines!!! |
