It is with great sadness that I report the death of Buck Taylor at Dalwoodie Nursing Home on 14 December 2005. He joined 57 Squad (Bomber Wells) in November 1936 at Deal and served with the RM Band in HMS Nelson (the battleship) during the War. He was still regaling nurses with his exploits in the RM Band at the end and they in turn spent nights reading articles to him from Navy News and the Blue Band Magazine.
