Not a lot else to do at sea!
At least we didn't disturb the neighbours!

Here's an article from the East Kent Mercury 7th June 2007 (aka the 'Jewish Chronicle!')

Sorry about the quality, but I'm sure you get the gist of it all.... _________________ Nill Illigitimi Carborundum |

Had a memorable day at Horse Guards Parade on Sunday...
Caught up with many ex-RMBs playing in the RMA Concert Band. They were playing at the post-Parade reception, held at Lancaster House.
Superb location and the Corps did us proud!
Met up with a few others who served in the Falklands in 1982: George Tate, Bugs Buster Brown, George O'Connor & Dave Bentley. Paul Coker, Brian Allen, Ian 'Jock' Milne and Trev Attwood.
(Great to swing the lamp with Gen JJ Moore!)
Some might remember Rodney Helm? (Gloucester House Officer, late 60's)
It was quite an emotional day but rather fitting that the first tribute was given by ex-RM Steve Newland MM. He made a moving tribute to who else......The RM Band

Well said Billy! It was a great tribute and shows how much the Corps respects the Band Service. Having seen the slating that the army bands got on AARSE it was good to see the Corps showing that they respected the professionalism of the guys who went down south. The SA in the instrument store still has a hangover and said the lads were done proud by all in London _________________ http://www.royalmarinesbands.co.uk
