Hi All
I am Brian Thorogood ex RMB 3456, Joined as boy entry in 1955, passed out in 1958, posted to HMS Phoenicia (Malta) 1959 on return joined Staff band in Deal then Royal Yacht in 1962, left band service in 1966, I now play for Essex Yeomanry Band (Chelmsford) Clarinet,Bass Clarinet, Tenor Sax (Not all at the same time) and YMCA Orchestra in Romford, (Violin) if there are players who would like to join the Essex Yeomanry Band please contact me.

A bit late for me, that invite - I left Essex (Braintree area) 3 years ago for the sunny midlands.

Hi

I think I spoke to you at one of your practises a couple of weeks ago. My sister, Jill, plays trumpet in the Essex Yeomanry band and I came to one of your practises when we spent a weekend at her's recently.

Unfortunately i live nowhere near Essex, hope you get some more useful replies from this thread
