What ho Brian ! Remember me ? Nice to see you are still up and running and if I'm ever in Deal.........No , lets be honest ! I like the poll but I'm afraid I couldn't take part as there wasn't a button for 'biggest f******g reptile/disease on the face of the planet' !!!!!! I did actually hear from the nasty git a few years after I got in the RAF when a lad from Redditch said that he had met him in the recruiting office and he had asked to be remembered to me. Annoyingly , he had also anticipated my inevitable coughing and spitting reaction ! " He said you'd do that ! " said my RAF colleague...how right he was !
Take care
Geoff

As a matter of interest I actually left to avoid him , and his chum at Pompeye at the time , Hemming . I've never forgiven either of them.

Well, this is all getting very personal! So I thought I'd add a little something to balance it up a wee bit...

Don't stop reading yet...

It's a story about the villain of the piece who used to give me a lift from the Married Patch in Walderslade to HMS Pembroke (at a cost, of course).

I was a humble Musn horn player (the scourge of many a Drum Major who tried to convert me - no joy) and he was a Corporal Bugler with whom nobody seemed to get on. (Including me, but I needed the lifts! )

One morning, I turned up outside his house and out he came, "Good morning!" says I, "How's it hanging?" (Not!)

"You'll have to make other arrangements to get to work", he spat, "I've been promoted to Sgt Bugler and won't be able to take you any more."

"Congratulations!", I said (no really, I did!) "I'll ask Geoff (Bishop) or Monz (North)"

"OK," he crowed, "I'll see you later then."

Sound of chin hitting chest (no icon available)

"Er, what about Colours this morning then?" I squeeked somewhat worriedly (probably showing my fear more than I should have done for the piece of 'ess aitch one tee' to gloat over later to all of his friend, and yes, I've missed the 's' off friend quite deliberately.)

Surely he didn't mean to leave me stranded all the way out here with absolutely no chance of getting on parade on time?

YUP! He did.

And he did - just drove off, the ****$$%%*** *@'**## etc etc.

To be honest, I don't remember if I made it on parade or not - but I've never forgotten that person. I can't remember which site I posted to , but those of you that read both Dickie's site and the guest book on this (now cool) site may remember seeing a small dose of vitriol that I poured onto the heads of MJ, DD and CB.

MJ & DD both sent me e mails in response to that, which cooled me down a bit - but if CB had have done I would have been pleased to let him know my thoughts about him.

It's nice to know that it's not just me!!!!!!!

(And it's nice to be able to share this story with you)

Stuey

Hi geoff and others watching this thread.....i vaguely remember starting this topic having left the top off the model glue and waking up...eventually. I think i was hoping that someone would offset my sick mind memories with stories of how Chris B saved the pussers form 126 or brought Shergar back from the glue factory..but alass you have taken the easy route and chosen to nail this man's balls to the mast..all I can say is 'pass the hammer lofty and make sure the nails are hot this time!'

Can the Aardvark please come and give my keyboard a clean. Coffee on the keys is not conducive to good spelling!
