Deli,

Serious request, Honest!

Is the BR13 still the Bulgers bible? ....My youngest is now honking about wanting to be a Bulger. He's got a Bulge which I bought for him but I was just wondering if there is something up to daterer that I can get hold of to help him on his way? Failing that, I just need to lay my hands on a BR13 somehow. I don't know if the fact that he's the present Corp's Drum Major's Godson will make a difference. He He!

I am willing to part with the necessary dubloons should this be possible!

Cheers Matey

Woooooooooooolfy!

I have a BR13........but you cant have it. It's lining my bed I 'found' it under a bulgers bed once when I was looking for a lost ball-top.

I think Aaron Aardvark is holding a copy of BR13 hostage. Unless you pay up, he will slowly extract it by cutting out a few staves, page by page, and post you some marches, one at a time.

(This thread is getting a bit Off-beat? )

The difference between Ffoggy and a Bulger was also the way in which he used to swing his tampons around his head.

...........and what a bloody mess that would be !!!!

I know what you mean, but there is no need to lower the tone.

Also, AA, you've gone past the unwritten rule, of never comparing bulgers to percussionists. It winds both camps up.

How do you know when you have gone past an unwritten rule?

You must have realised by now Botty that all us horn players are closet Bulgers at Heart. A horn used to just be bulge with a bigger bell(e) end after all!!

Thanks for letting me know Billy, we can sort it out at the next shapers meeting.
