Stan was a particularly fine (and large) trombone player, who spent his final serving years, (I Think) in Staff Band at Deal...It wouldn't surprise me if he was still in that area..?? Townsergeant..??..

Stan is still large and still living in Deal! I got that info from JJ O'Neill last night at the DMBT Meeting last night at the RMA.
(DMBT = Deal Memorial Bandstand Trust....RMA = RMA!  )
I also spoke to Syd Rose in town yesterday Rab....He said he remembers your name but couldn't put a face to it...Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing!
