How many former CTC band members recall the Tatoo rehearsal we did at (i think )Wyvern barracks Exeter around 1974? During stand easy, all the Military bands taking part were stood off the parade ground enjoying the break, when a certain L/Cpl bugler R.M ( hiding in the shadows) shouted out at the top of his voice " FALL IN THE LIGHT INFANTRY". Within seconds, the light division band had fallen in ready to continue . Meanwhile, the rest of us stood around laughing and continuing our stand easy observing this solitary band fallen in on the parade ground.
