Just letting Eric Hayward know that I have checked out this site! Had an email from Ray Alberry HMS HERMES mate 61-63 (is it that long ago!?) concerned re the fires in Victoria Australia. Not good even as I write this 9 days into the fires. I am now living in Melbourne close to the city all we have is lots of smoke drifting down form the hills  up to 100kms. away.  As far as I know no ex RMB's affected. Had emergencies with my in laws re the fire but all is well.
I would love to hear from any ex Hermes mates. I correspond with Graham Hoskins - Mike Tellick and Terry Toon but would like to hear from anyone else from those days plus the Plymouth Group Band from 64-68.
Look forward to seeing some of you again at the Adelaide reunion at the end of March.  I will bring the trusty camera again!
