Hey there, I'm Chris,
I just passed my audition in May & I'm due to start basics on Sept 4th 06. I'm a French Horn, Cornet player and a pianist, yet Ive been accepted on Clarinet and Viola!!
So yes.....Ive had to lay down my beloved Horn and get to grips with licking a piece of wood, still the way I look at, if I'm being paid to play music, I'm laughing!

I was a cornet player before auditions, but somehow they managed to train me on Clarinet Saxamaphone and Violin. I dug my heels in on the Violin though....A fair 2nd Bike... It gives you a better perspective when you come onto your BM's course in later life having had the experience of other instruments first. Welcome, and good luck....
