So hello everyone

I can't remember how I got here exactly or what I was looking for when I stumbled across this place but I guess that doesn't really matter now.

I joined Nelson vol. band whenI moved down to Pompey from Somerset back in Sept/Oct time cos I thought it'd be fun (more fool me!)

And I guess that concludes my lame introduction, I guess if there's anything you're desperate to know about me then just ask. If you're lucky I might even answer

He's got better things to do than talk about a highly irritating flautist who talks goolies the whole time and asks stupid questions!

You just answered the next "obvious" poser...and that was what <musical> instrument you play.

That reminds me, considering we have no rehearsals til he gets back I really ought to spend the time practising.

Or I could just go down to the shop and get some beer to accompany me whilst I trawl the internet and watch telly - need to get my liver all warmed up for a big weekend on the town

It seems the Nelson lot have found the door, a belated welcome to your belated hello SO how long have you been playing the goolies?
Make yourself comfortable and it is your round...

NO I Said "It is your round" NOT "You are round"

My round?!! I don't think I like this place after all!

Surely it's the role of the men to get the drinks for the girls? No? Oh well I've a few cans of Carling lying around (as they're on offer in Balfours) if you're desperate!

As for the musical bit, been playing various instruments badly since I can remember but I'm least crap at flute which I've played for the last 14 or so years (crumbs I'm getting old) Also have a clarinet & and alto sax which I play rarely as I'm not very good and can't be arsed to practise/teach myself

Tradition states <if not we can change that> that a newbie buys the first round.

I'll take that as a compliment - thousands wouldn't!

As for the round, this'll have to do for now

And I'll be sure to drink plenty over the weekend for you as well. Just to be polite and all
