A good job, it had a slight uphill gradient at the bottom. No breaks, on a breadboard!! _________________ Once a Bugler, always a Turtle !! |

The other mode of transport, was a DIY go - cart or Soap box, steered with your feet or a bit of string. _________________ Once a Bugler, always a Turtle !! |

Yes, but the floor was rotting and the string operated the wiper blades _________________ I have decided to live forever..... so far, so good.................. |

| I also was involved with a not to be named Greengrocer and helped on his rounds around Dargets Wood Estate on Saturdays, and being as naive as I was in those far off days, I never questioned why he was so long in one house on the top road just to collect twobob that was owing from the previos week. Of course on said previos week he had to collect money for the week previous to that. And so on and so forth. I must admit I was offered "favours" but one would never "S---" in ones own nest. |
