Yes and no... it depends how people use the forum. If they hit the 'View posts since last visit' they will see it twice, if they are not registered users they don't have the benefit of that particular link so double posts can work to the posters advantage. The only problem is that people then have to cross reference the topics to find the answers and they then get very confused (also not unusual on here, the confusion, not the double posting).

I don't think dear ol' Dave would mind us having a laugh at his expense. He's probably up there in the great parade ground in the sky laughing twice as much as the rest of us. He was that sort of guy.

The gig did go well thanks, despite a few gaps. We managed to scrounge a real kit player which was great, however we still need one for the Wincanton gig on 12 October.

He did put up an aerial for me about 6 years ago, and left his pliers up there. haven't seen him since, but will no doubt try to contact him in the next couple of weeks. when i do, i will pass on your regards, and tell him about this site.
