Either way you look at it it's not long now!
It's crazy for me to think that right now I'm sitting working in an office (should be working I should say) and next week I will be training in the worlds finest Military Band.

I know Steve Cook was a sucker for Pussers traditions but was he the only one wearing puttees???

Tiny Tayor with his Self Loading Musket (BFA attached). Ahh and I can smell the Cam Cream!

flash photography in the field is axctually encouraged, especially when it is the dead of night.

Or ... just before first light is always a good time totake photos, the light quality, when you use the flash, is superb. many of the Naval photographic competitions have been won by people who have done this very same thing.
