Yes, Stuey you are dead right, we DID march on to Blaze Away for the finale, just like you said (and I distinctly remember hearing you say it was indeed for the finale. Thank you for reminding me about my failing memory)

...and yes I remember the ball top thing, it must have been orchestrated by Aaron Aardvark !!!

How did you only manange 1 RT, I won 3 !!!

There was a wonderful gig that Chatham band used to get every year that happened to fall at the same time as the RT called Keiler Woche - you'll have seen it mentioned on Dogend threads. Unfortunately, this prevented us from attending Earl's Court, as much as we'd loved to have been there with you.

The best part of that march is the bars silence about eight bars in, when all you can hear is the sound of heel on parade ground. Oooooohhhhh......

Oh dear, everyone had forgotten
Brass Buttons
Cavalry of the Steppes
Warship (AKA The Dogend March)
Wembley Way

All played on FA cup finals... any chance of a replay ref?

it's the 4' 6" bent tube with a wide bit at the front that used to get you up in the morning and tell you when to turn the lights out and go to bed at night - along time ago -

Marches at Cup Finals Match of the day and dont lets forget Horseguards 1970 massed band marching down the Mall to the England World Cup tune of that year Back Home. Burgalar Marches how about Mechanised Infantry or Delibellybad(Jellelabad)Silver Burgalars.Need good old fashioned marches with some umpf so Bass Trom can march behind the man with the big thingy round his neck so you can play half a beat behind him all the way round Chatham and Gilligham, he gets really annoyed if any one Knows were he is ask Rivs Howgill, or put a Bass Drummer out of step, this is dangerous though next countermarch bass drum stick gently in the B$&%£%"*
Soon be at the bar Adios
