Your all time top recordings?

Anyone?
MFMs? older? Newer?
One of the biggest sellers has been Mountbatten Festival of Music 1998, why?
Another very big seller was 'Scottish Royals' and is still selling very well for its age.

What floats your musical boat and why?

I have one of the few surviving demo tapes of the FOSNIpS devils in red shirts band playing a Christmas Medley on one side, Complete with FFoglamps rototoms and Phil Hassle singing on the other side with Dave Smales out of tune Guitar..........Booty :O)
FFoglamp

I can't believe that someone has that demo tape. I collect concerts and tapes, and I was on that recording, BUT I do not have a copy.

Can you do a copy for me ? Still can't work out who you are, but you must have been a Ship Inn at Limekilns rating.

I have to admit that I did frequent that particular watering hole on more than one occasion.....and if I remember correctly you had a pea-green MkIII Cortina Estate....Yuck and I hated that fir tree smelly thing you had in there....Booty :O)

Hey Booty Bandy,

All I wanted was jovial chat and banter, and instigating a copy of the Xmas medley tape, not a whodunnit ?

So, come out of your closet, we know who you are.

Incidentally, it wasn't FOSNI red shirts (dance band). This recording was made under our real band name of WILLPOWER.

Anyway, I'll ask the Aardvark for a copy, he knows everything.

Merry Xmas.

I doubt very much if Aadvark will have this recording, as you know Mark, this recording was only for the select few. I also know that the band was called Willpower and that the T shirts were made in Carlisle at the Summer Fair. Blue in colour and each section had their own printing, Horn section, rhythm section etc... I am not instigating a whodunnit, just having a bit of fun.... send me your address to judocoach at mac dot com and I will get a copy to you in the New Year. All the best mate. I'm off to France for Christmas and the New Year leaving today.....Have a good one....Booty :O)

GOTCHA!

Bootybandy - I know your name...

...I wondered where you were.
RAB

YES BOOTY..I know who you are as well..AND you've got my head all in a "tiz". You have been spot on with everything you posted concerning FOSNI in my time..

Just 1 wee problem...

I DON'T REMEMBER YOU BEING THERE!!
Still, nice to meet you electronically T***k...
bootybandy

That's because after I arrived there in January I swapped drafts with Ricky Brown to go on the Ark Royal four months later, but I packed a lot into those four months with excellent gigs and run's ashore with you older people. Schools tours were my favourites both in Northern Ireland and North England. I also remember a Corporal Bugler Geordie Rowell detesting the smell of Oranges. It's funny the things you remember.......Booty :O)
bootybandy

I think it just goes to show what an impression the "Old Sweats" had on young Musicians just out of the box in those days.....Booty :O)
