Would You Do It Again..??

This thread may help any young potential recruits to gain a wide perspective of many years of former and current RMB's opinions.

I for one wouldn't have missed my short carreer for the World..
bootybandy

You're absolutely right there Rab. It gives you a greater perspective on life (and how to take the pizz out of it) There would be one or two small things I would have done differently, but on the whole doing it all over again would not be a problem. Some great times and events. That really is Priceless.
Aaron Aardvark

Actually, it turned me into a gibbering loony.........however that is preferable to a boring old fart so im a big YES.
RAB

err...would that be a boring old fart who forgot to vote both of you..???
Co-admin

Hell yes! I, like Botty, would do a few things differently but hindsight is a great tool that we only get after

MrJpig

Without hesitation....would stay in longer If I knew what I know now. lots of places I would have liked to have seen...even if (as the current Mrs Jumpig says) it was through the bottom of a glass.

Doesn`t matter if you do 3 or 30 years...it`s experience that nobody can take away from you!!

lesbryan

Yes i wish i have done the lot but circumstances would not allow

Well said Andy......It's also an experience that so few people have had and something which we should all be proud of.
townsergeant

Yes please, Sir!

Did 26 years, left 10 years ago and I still have dreams (sometime nightmares!) about being in the band!
Wolfy

By God YES!!! .......and again if I came this way a third time too, without a second thought!!
FFoglamp

I would do it all again!!!

Maybe, you could just ignore the first 12 weeks,

and 2 x Januarys at Lympstone command courses

..........and the BFT's

.......... and an incredible amount of time waiting around

.............. and an awful lot of my life wasted on a coach

..................and rehearsing the whole concert, before a concert a la goss

........................and Lincoln splits (no keep that in, twas funny)

...............................and mili training at Lyddon

YEAH, what has the Band Service ever done for us !!!!
lesbryan
