RNSM Bandies

Hello All,
I have recently accquired the attached pic. It appears to be 4 lads of the RNSM it looks to me like it was taken around WWII. The caps are the blue cloth type with a white cotton cover and I think they have the RNSM cap badge. It looks like they are sitting on a life raft. I can't tell what the medal ribbons are but they don't look like "pip, squeak and wilfred" WWI medals. One strange thing, the two lads on the left look like they have fold down collars on their jackets while the other 2 have stand up collars that we all know and love (remember those Vic Ship dinners?). On the back there is the inscription - Four (lads? - unclear) of P W (or P D) Band. The W or D is a bit curly so I can't tell which it is but the only 1930's ship I can think of is Prince of Wales. I think I will send the pic to the RM Museum for the archive if they want it but I'd like to do some research first. Any thoughts please?

Sorry the original is only a bit bigger than the enlarged image and not very clear. PJ.
