Mr Bass Trombone

Richard(Shiner)Wright.

It is with a sad heart  that I have to inform you that Shiner left us at 1725 on the 13th June to join the great and good in the massed band on a higher plane. My sincere condolences to all of his family and those of us that are left in his wider family that is the RMB.
  RICHARD(SHINER) WRIGHT  RIP.

I knew Shiner through massed bands not having served with Him. But, He will be remebered as a character of the RM Band Service.

Another sad loss to the All Stars, I'll miss not having him in front of me on stage. He and Hedley threatened to have a wheelchair race in Margate in March but I'm not sure it if took place.

RIP Richard, you'll be greatly missed.
