Richard(Shiner)Wright.It is with a sad heart that I have to inform you that Shiner left us at 1725 on the 13th June to join the great and good in the massed band on a higher plane. My sincere condolences to all of his family and those of us that are left in his wider family that is the RMB.

I knew Shiner through massed bands not having served with Him. But, He will be remebered as a character of the RM Band Service.

Such sad news. Shiner helped to show me what it was all about when I was not long out of the box.

Another sad loss to the All Stars, I'll miss not having him in front of me on stage. He and Hedley threatened to have a wheelchair race in Margate in March but I'm not sure it if took place.
RIP Richard, you'll be greatly missed.
