Pusser's Socks

Is there anything better than new, thick, black pusser's socks? I bloomin' love them, and they're free. I haven't bought socks for years!
AND, if you get bored with them and it's cold, you can get arctic socks!
OR, olive drab if you want to wear green. The possibilities are endless....

What more could a chap want in life?
lesbryan

I used to hate them (too itchy)only wore them at flying stations and r.a.s to prevent static

It's a nerves thingy you know. .Happened to us all at one point....
Aaron Aardvark

Go to the RM shop....they are selling corps pattern socks now
General Melchett

My fiancee has a pair Aaron, and wears them with her FMB's! I am slowly warping her mind.....
If you can't buy your Christmas presents from the Corps Museum there must be something wrong with you!
lesbryan

Have they got drums and thingy's on them?
General Melchett

No Les, just The Blue, yellow, green, red and blue stripes of the Corps flag
lesbryan

You can even buy them online from the corps museum shop so there's no need to leave your comfy chair

Corps socks, polo shirt and v neck jumper. Blazer over the top... smart as you like. Got a mate in Oz who carries the standard. He is more corps coloured than the corps colour!
Aaron Aardvark

Do they do Corps scarves too. A nice long wooly one would just do.
MrJpig

All topped off with a nice white pair of gauntlets...GIVE IT 'ERE OL' SON!!!

Oh and you missed off the thin ones. We get a choice at the premier clothing store of the Fleet.
General Melchett

And a Corps Belt turned into a Standard carrier, with a Brunswick star on for good measure - I've seen one! I couldn't quite believe it though
lesbryan

Do they do em with ball tops just for Aaron
Aaron Aardvark

Ooohh ..I get all excited when it comes to ball-tops. I wouldnt ever BUY one though.....I just 'found' them
General Melchett

I shop courtesy of FPGRM Deli, not with our Naval brethren, so don't get the choice!

Les, I think that Aaron has enough Ball Tops thank you very much!!!! There were many members of Fleet Band who had to adapt, improvise and overcome using just a Benson and Hedges fag packet so that Aaron could get his fix!
FFoglamp

Hey, can we have our own internal sort of e bay site on here. I've just found a pair of short cut off tenor drum sticks to sell. This would introduce the art of playing fresh air all day, and lugging a big drum around all day, for nothing, to any budding massed band percussionists.
bootybandy

You should include with those drum sticks a box of very big Plasters.
lesbryan

Good idea Ffoglamp i could probably sell my socks with the big anchors on them
FFoglamp

So, lets go. We can start a new thread somewhere to sell our wares.
