According to the photo, they were all participants of a Tattoo at Deal in 1962.

I thought they were Foreign Students on the B/M's Course.

Was the Adjutant,s horse the famous "Haigh"?
Anyone remember the Blue Band photo of Captain Doug Haigh rip, the horse Haigh and the bottle of Haigh Scotch.
I rode haigh (the horse, before some smarta$$ makes a comment) on many occasions while exercising with the grooms. I also drank my fair share of haigh scotch. My only claim to fame with Doug Haigh was he awarded me my B2's.

Correction. should read M2's.
But if you heard my euphonium playing........... maybe it was B2's.

Yes Nick, I forgot that one.  The police officer wanted to pee and asked me to watch his horse, when he returned I was trying to ride the horse into the beer tent. Col Neville was not amused!!!!

You would remember the bloody horse if it stomped on your spit and polished parade boots. I will never forget the sight of that big black ar$e backing up to me. I got extra drill for moving from the Adjutant Capt. Jack Mansell.

Now that description requires no physical images....

Mind you it does leave the thread wide open to a hijack...
