Congratulations Taff, and well done.

You've come a long way since we shared the inliers house at Portal Close with Dan Cook at Northolt. !!!!!

I know you have done some marvellous things in your carreer and you thoroughly deserve the big GONG (applause at this stage), but

just tell me you didn't get it for your cornet playing ???

Well it was definately not for his violin playing. He went through the whole BM's Winter concert series without ever putting rosin on his bow once, until I got hold of his bow in an interval and gave it a thorough going over. He came back played a few notes, disapperared in a cloud of rosin dust and nearly sh-one-t himself. His violin was so loud....Booty :O)

Poor Taff leave him alone. The bloke gets a well deserved gong and all you miserable jealous so and so's can do is slate his musical abilities. I happen to know that Taff is a very fine gentleman and deserves an even bigger gong.......we cant all be fantastic blowers you know ...for some of us it comes naturally.......for others it takes some practice. You should all take a long hard look at your playing standards. I have heard better parps and thuds coming from the heads after a beer -run down the Wanchai.
