Hi Andy.
We actually have a cleaner in our nick who can do this off the top of his head. He's made  a hand written record of the top ten every since god knows when.  Just give him your date of birth and he tells you what was number one within seconds. We obviously checked it out and to date, he's been spot on every single time. Spooky!!! (He's still a crap cleaner though)LOL
Nick B

That could have been a possibility seeing as how Manty was the worlds number recording artist in the fifties until someone named Elvis came along.

'Cara Mia' by Dave Whitfield with Chorus & Mantovani & his Orchestra

Does this help?

Over the mountain over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love

I see the moon the moon sees me
Down through the leaves of the old oak tree
(Back where my heart) Back where my heart is longing to be
(Please let the light) Please let the light that shines on me
(Shine on the one I love) Shine on the one I love

(Everybody once again)
Over the mountain over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love
(Please) Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love

Over the mountain over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love

Perhaps Joe 90 will qualify as the oldest swinger on the forum, I can remember that one thats cos I am older, the question is, IS anyone going to own up to being the oldest swinger on the forum, that does not include Col Jim and I as we both pre date the earliest year of 1945, Come lads be honest for once in your lives.
