Have you counted ALL the other duplications you have? If so what is the final total then?

Sorry, that'll make 3 then

Sorry to you all just received MFM 2008 numbers now gone up to 1745 recordings of which 1077 separate pieces without duplications. When you have A Life on the Ocean Wave 43 times and all the other regular pieces it soon adds up.
admin

How many arrangements of LOTOW do you have though? There are 2 distinct different ones... 1078?
Pompey Rich

Do these collections include personal recordings on video and unofficial recordings 'donated' by mates in the know?

Re: Versions of LOTOW- 43 Recordings mostly arranged by Dunn and Alford and a Dunn Orchestral version. Then of course there is the up beat version by Mac McDermott.
All my recordings are LP, Cassettes, CD Video. Some cassettes are recordings of MFM as broadcast on BBC Radio and Some Videos of Broadcasts on Television.
Hope this meets with your approval

IMHO I personally like the McDermott version of LOTOW.

BTW I have just remembered I still have about 8 LP's of Si Boorer that he loaned me once for some reason or another. Deli, If I drop them off to you, could you see that he gets them back?

Not long, then.....................

Thank god, there's no 'Late return' fees.
bootybandy

I have them in the garage and will indeed return them to Deli. A lot of them also have signatures of many who performed on the record. Some no longer with us..........

Have you still got the door plaque from 2KA4 in the garage as well or does it adorn somewhere else?
bootybandy

Aaaaahhhhhhhh. The montage of what at first glance looked like a Turks head, but on closer inspection was details of various parts of male and female bodies entwined in various positions of entanglement...............

I'm not sure we're talking about the same plaque, the one Colin Johnson commissioned in 1970 for the mess door was a rather 'animal' looking bandy, can't remember what what written on it but it was probably mundane like 'Band Mess'

The second one- that's the one I remember ('78). We (the Ark survivors) took it to HMS Hermes for the 1st incarnation of FOF3 (4KZ1). Apart from the pic, it WAS rather mundane- 'Royal Marines Band'. Does anybody know what became of it???
bootybandy
