MFM 2007 proposal... your help neededWhich of these options would YOU go for?
The CD AND a DVD in seperate packaging would be 2 products so a discount of £2 for a purchase of both items at the same time.

The DVD will be the entire concert filmed by an outside company and produced by us. The CD can only be 70 minutes of the concert and edited to give a better listening experience!

Altho the wonders of watching the corps of drums or Darren whats-his-face should never be underestimated.. I'd just prefer to whack the CD on in the car!! won't be there next year as it clashes with Koln.. tough choice but sorry, we get free beer!

The wife can whack the CD in her car (it's a wonder the thing can move with all the CDs she's got in there!), while meself and the lad examine the serried ranks for nose-pickers and nut scratchers.

It's always good to watch the Lads (and Lasses now of course) performing, but not recommended when you're driving a motor...
always handy to have both methinks...Best of both worlds...

G'Day, Iknow that this reply is a bit behind the others, but I would most certainly go for the double deal. I have heard a few M.F.M. concerts, would dearly love to see one, so, definately, the double deal.
Cheers.
Maurie.

Great shame Deli. I've heard the buglers feature quite a lot this year.

Well well.. ..I'm disappointed..Here's me thinking I was fairly well connected on this site, and I ain't even heard a whisper..
Perhaps I should offer to hand back the Queen's Shilling and take up a career as an incarserator and muncher of Tesco "Meal for One" Bundies, and be more "in the know" on all things RMB....
By the way Pumpy... ..Last year's static is good..nay...really good as shown on the private cameras....

Les mate.. It hasn't gone by the wayside.. It's just not going to be recorded this year in an official capacity..
But no fears.. You'll see the whole thing, as you're a regular attender at these LIVE displays, and we never hear you moan about the content...
True Blue Matey... True Blue...

Pompey Rich is right Rab,
Apparently the CoD are pretending to be a train..........
Won't see it myself as I have a weeks leave, that's 5 years now without doing an MFM..... doing well - only 4 left!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Horn players getting off gigs? Let me think, is there any precedence for this type of activity?
Nope - none I can think of.
Carry on that man!

Rats, and a lot of other un-mentionable words, looks like I will have to wait another year to see one of these magnificent concerts.
Cheers.
Maurie.
P.S. Deli, Tried to send you a P.M., but there appeared to be some difficulties and I am not sure if it went or not. Have you received a P.M. from me? M.

I'd probably just buy the CD, then I can listen at the same time that I'm supposed to be doing something else (e.g. working), whereas if I got the DVD that would just be distracting (kinda like the forum...) and I'd never get anything done
|
Pompey Rich
|
Do you take a laptop to band rehearsal then, Apricot?
|
Apricot
|
I don't have a laptop!

It was such a ridiculous suggestion from the "untuned" section of the musical formation, that I thought I'd better try and rescue you (as I adore all things fresh and fruity ) from the doldrums of ....
Well.......Doll...Drums........
