OH - MY - GOD

After reading the 'Hello' post in the 'Introduce yourself' section made by stick@heage, and regarding the Blood Gulch' incident..........

It reminded me of the time, as a J/Musn, when I took a lovely, local, Deal lass onto the beach between the boats, to have my wicked way, and like the referred to 'Blood Gulch' dit, it was 'under the cover of darkness'.

After, I remember walking her part way home, (chivalry was not part of me in those early years) and arranging to meet her again the next night.

On coming back just before midnight, through the Main gate walking smartly, none the worse for drink, I was directed from that lovely open window after showing my id card, into the guardroom.

I thought to myself, 'What?.......I'm not drunk, or late!!!!'

Guard Commander asked me what I'd been up to?

Nothing, I replied.

Yes you have, he stated, grinning.

I noticed all the other ranks, still awake in the guardroom, were also grinning.

There must have been a mixture of a guilty look and a confused look on my face.

I thought, bloody hell, how does he know what I've been up to? Has someone reported me?

Look down, lad! The Guard Commander instructed me.

I looked down..........

OH - MY - GOD!!!!!

On the area of my tan trousers, all over the knees, was....Black 'Heavy Oil'

Look at your hands, lad. Was the next thing he said.

I looked down........

OH - MY - GOD!!!!!

Black 'Heavy Oil' all over the palm of my hands.

I could feel the heat generating from my face and I'm sure the colour matched the red Snr NCO sash he was wearing.

Get off with you......he shouted, laughing.

Went I did, and bloody quick, too!

Got past the Duty Nick in M Wing without any probs. (Don't know how, probably Jim Trewern).

Scrubbed off oil from hands, threw away a good set of strides.

I lay in my pit.

Thought of Deal lass..........

OH - MY - GOD!!!!!

What must her bare back have been like........ and her breasts?
What about HER clothes?
What must her parents have said??????

Suffice to say, next night, I waited at the pre-arranged meeting place....she was a 'No Show'.

Thanks to all the Tanker Captains who release oil or flush their tanks in the English Channel.
