As i was 5 at the time I'm afraid I don't have any... Someone MUST have been there. Sammy? Where you there? Spill the beans. I did hear a dit about Albatros but can't remember where, when or who it was!

I was there, Tom Lambert DoM, I can't recall much happening to spin dits about. If I remember rightly like many Service Hotels we stayed in the accomodation left a little to be desired but as we alway's do we coped, plenty of beer, and frickendelan and chips eased the pain.

Yes I had the pleasure of being on that gig. We had a turkish band on the gig and they all looked like Jim Trewerne with their moustaches and on one occasion when we had a break they tried pulling Jims moustache off as they thought his was artificial like all of theirs were.
The chippy outside of the Barracks made a fortune out of us and the aberden saxophone band we staying at the barracks with us, we lived on bread, ham, cheese and live yogurt nato even gave us an extra allowance so that we coul have an egg every day, we never did, but best of all th elast meal in Arnhem was half a chicken each, all you could hear was the bones being sucked clean. Then we moved to Brussels and the Heysel Stadium and the Barracks we stayed in were worse the Arnhem. We had a great meal a roast dinner, great, trouble is it was horse. Non the less it was a good trip.

Despite all the hard times he gets for dodgy use of apostrophe's' (and hasn't anyone told him A before U except after S?)

On top of that he's scrapped his boots (hung mine up many years ago).

Ahhhh - love it Mick, keep 'em coming Dad, you make oi larf you do!!

Surely you can't be PERMANENTLY under the influence of San Mig?

Tell me I is wrong Mick
