hjiaI've just been reading a few other posts from people who have passed their recruitment tests and have interviews booked up, but I passed my recruitment test and then I got sent a huge long form to fill in, that has been sent back and I still haven't heard back from them. So how long did it take you guys to hear any news back after you completed the form?

Hi there, I'm not even in the service yet, I'm a couple of stages ahead having just completed my fitness test and given an audition date.
Are you talking about the Counter Terrorist Check?
I filled mine in and gave it to the office by hand. They got back to me the same day.
Turned out I had to do it all again as I messed it up with too many crossings out and errors.
When did you send it to them?

Phone them if it has been a while just to check the progress... things can get jammed or lost in the pipeline so keep in touch with them for progress reports

Yes, it is worth phoning. Each AFCO is very different, some seem to be on the ball, and some (like the one I went to) seem to be a bit slow.

Well I sent my first form off over a month ago and when I heard nothing I rang them and they hadn't recieved it at all. So I had to fill it all in again and so far its been one and a half weeks. I presume it was the CTC form, not sure though, its the one asking for personal information, family etc. and it asks about terrorism etc.
