hi advice neededi'm 14 and i play french horn and i would like to join royal marines band. Could you please give me advice and pointers

I'm a horn player too, not that you could have guessed that!
My suggestion is to keep practicing, learn your scales, practice more, get your grades and keep practicing.
But it's not all about being able to play the horn, there are a lot of other factors too, which includes your attitude to discipline and other people.
Keep yourself out of trouble, practice your horn playing and get fit. When you eventually leave school and if you're still interested, this forum will still be here so come back and keep tabs on what's happening in the RMBS (and of course the Blue Band site.)
There'll be others along to give you advice and support soon.
(Oh - by the way, keep practicing because you'll never be able to play to your full potential if you don't. I know this because I only reached my full potential once I'd left the Band and started practicing...)
