Hi Danni,
welcome to the site and I hope you are able to find out all that you need from this site and the links off it.
Females are able to join the RM Band Service just as easily as a male... there is no difference as far as we are concerned. If you have a look HERE it should explain things to you. It will take you from the initial application at your careers office to putting on your uniform!
Any questions, please ask.

JoiningHi Danni,
I am kind of in a similar situation to yourself (I think) I am currently working full time - (i'm 21 yrs of age) I have been working full time since leaving school at the age of 18yrs. Since leaving shcool I have had 3 different jobs. I have been interested in joining the RM Band for sometime, and everytime they play at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool, the awesomness ( if thats a word) of how they play, conduct themselves and have full all at the same time, makes me want to join all the more. I have Grade 4 Tenor Horn, Grade 2 Trumpet (I started playing the trumpet, but moved on to Tenor Horn) I have played the Euphonium (not to any grade) and play the drum kit (used for GCSE Music) and I have also played the side snare drum, and bugle. I would love to join the Band, and learn more, Does anyone know when the band are next recruiting???
Thanks and speak soon

actually...there is a difference. Im afraid Bulger Deli didnt go to biology lessons at school. Girlys and boys are a bit different. However when in uniform they are both the same.....apart from one has lumps sticking out of their cerries and the other has.......well flat cerries. Whatever you do....join the RMB not the navy. The RMB is much more civilized and you get an en-suite room and a DSRM just in case you are disabled.
And as Les, the Jolly Jack said...Deli will fill you in. I,m in no doubt that he will.....willingly.

Hi Dannielle, You mention that you are studying for your HND in Musical Performance, what instruments are you currently playing? as it would be good to know if you would be in a Solo instrumental category or one combined with another instrument. Welcome to the Forum.
