Hello Harry,
Glad to see you finally made it in here(swampy). It seems a lifetime ago that we lived in HQ Coy with the Bootnecks and whizzed around East Kent on our motor bikes, even the Drum Major has gone back to being the Cambridge Arms.  If I remember right you spent more time laying it down than riding it, Walmer Castle Railings springs to mind!
Anyway Welcome Aboard Shipmate.

Hiya tommo

Nice to see you at the west country Bugle fest. Sorry we didn`t have time for a yarn. was trying to convince myself that the little white haired old men were once our instructers who we were s**t scared of.....stand fast Errol.
The dit about the traffic warning lamp in Exeter is true but the story has probably been embellished a bit over the years.
see you at the next one.

Me old m8. glad to hear you`re still alive. Yeh I remember those days well. in fact was looking at a booth photo of me and you the other day taken,I think, in Margate circa 1978  you had some kind of bowler hat going on and how we got away with long hair and sideys I`ll never know obviously Satch or Dave Buchanan (or was it Breadhead) never found out.

Might be visiting Deal in Sept this year will let you know.

Great to see you on this site Dave. April 1st is a very appropriate day for you to say hello on here, being a man of much humour!  Do you still have your extensive collection of waistcoats? Do you recall that journey down to Deal for Horseguards rehearsal in 1988 when you had the most foul smelling backside emissions? Eventually, after a massed protest, you agreed to give us some warning which consisted of you doing a Casey Jones impression by pulling an imaginary pull cord twice as you sneaked one out to poison us. It still makes Bob & I laugh today.
Jimbo

Alright Dave,

how the devil are you old boy. Nice to see you on the forum mate, catch up with you later.

Would love to see you Dave if you make down this part of the world, make sure the rest of East Kent gets fair warning.
The photo you are talking about in the booth with bowler hat was taken some time in the 1970's just before we decided, off the cuff, to go over to the Isle of Man I think and I drove my little red, leaky, VW Beatle up to Scouseland to catch the ferry over there and promptly got pulled by the 'Old Bill' (Special Branch) getting off the boat.
The photo was shown to me a little while back by someone who has kept one of the photos in her purse for over 30 years, scarey............
