Erick(EEK) ParkerAnother losss to the ever growing list. Not only did we loose Neff Collins yesterday but also Erick Parker. Both great guys andwill be missed by many. I knew Neff( french horn) as a freind I never actually served with him, but he was a true gent amd a very gentle man I can never recall him having a thing to say about anyone, but no doubt there were some. As for Erick(tenor sax/violin) I can remember him I think he was still in the wing when I was there but certainly I can remember him from his days as a Dogend he I know was on the beach that day in Kiel when the Dogends werer born. My sincere condolences to both of their families and to of you his greater family that is the RMB.

Both true gents.Nef when at Chatham in the horn section, just got on with the work, never said a bad word about anyone, and I seem to remember was mates with Wally the librarian.
I particularly remember Eric when at Chatham. He did not do his promotion prospects much good spending as much drinking time with the dog-ends. He also stood up for the lads against a lot of the crap. He certainly got me out of deep $hit on a couple of occasions. We had some memorable dance band gigs together as well. RIP Eric and Neff.

Yes, I was also with Eek in the Dogend days and as Stan says, he was one of the the good guys.
So sorry to hear the terrible news as always.
RIP Eek, your striving for the ultimate 'rhubarb' paid off in Bolton.
