Band ReunionHi all
It was nice seeing all the guys last Saturday, had a good chat with quite a few, sorry to here thet Hedley Lock is not very well, I hope he improves soon.
The Junior band performed a super display and need to be congratulated on their performance.
Enjoyed the Church service on Sunday, Orchestra was very good, music played was just right.
Now looking forward to Mountbattern Festival in Febuary.

I agree Brian. Good doo and well organised as usual.
I particularly liked the powerpoint presentation showing a variety of pics old and new. Well done Deli for that. Nice to see Sam Goldsworthy and Dave Harding who I hadn't seen for best part of 26 years. Cheers to RAB for showing the finer points of how to operate a lift and for re introducing me to KFC !!

Yep hear hear..
The powerpoint presentation I thought was quite representative of this Forum, whereby it mixed young, old, serious and humorous situations and memories. It's fine to be reminded and kept up to speed with the more serious occurences in life, but I feel you need a good blend of that and fun to truly reflect on life as an RMB...
I had the pleasure of meeting Dave Harding for the first time, and if there's a funnier man on the planet I'd love to meet him. Dave has dits which are bursting with humour. I only wish he and others would join in here and share them....

A 'Shy Tot' do - Enjoyed every minute except the part at the end where I don't remember a thing - It was excellent to see some face's that I havn't seen in many a long year - The Sunday was almost as good - took a few days to get over it but hey! thats life - hic!

I , as his instructor when he joined along with Mark Spratt, DD James,and
Dave Kerr.
I was privalaged to attend his
retirement top table at Raleigh. Seen Him in, and
drank him out. Last of my old boys will be Tommy Lawton next year.
Should be another good evening.

he joined the new MPGS geezers, works at raleigh i think they are an army regiment, but all they do is guard gates at barraks etc (i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong!)
