Anyone know where Steve Dennis is?

I said 'know' not 'who'!!

The best years of my 15 year stint in the band was the 4 spent at Dartmouth, '77 - '81. Me and Steve Dennis (both horns) went everywhere together and got on real good.

He left the RMB in '80 and stayed in Dartmouth for a while, but then dropped off the face of the planet.

I can find most people that I want to, but not this elusive Guinness lover.

Anyone out there know where he is?

Thanks in advance if you do.

Sorry I can't help with Know or Where, but he was such a mischevious lad in training. What was his nickname again....oh yeah, Minge.....I wonder why......Booty :O)

Yeah, on our first night in the mob (2nd Sept '69) those who hadn't already got a nickname due to something obvious (guess what colour hair Blondie Phillipson had?) got to choose their own.

Steve Dennis couldn't think of anything and nobody dared to mention his 'shortage' in the height dept! He was more than a bit touchy about it and was apt to throw a few knucles about if you so much as thought of the word 'titch'.

So, in bed that night after lights out - Steve was asked what he liked best in the world and that would be his nickname...

The rest is history. Nobody thought twice of freely using his nickname, so it was more than a bit embarassing in the high Street in Deal, when in full (scratchy) lovats, young booty bandies were heard to shout to their oppo across the street, "HEY MINGE! Coming for a wet?"
