About myselfHello ITS Petereames2006 here I would like to introduce myself to those on this forum that don't know me but soon will. I was born In Bristol in 1967 & then moved to Kent in 1974/75 where my love of Military music took off in a big way it so happened that on Remembrance day in 74/75 We had gone out for the day and had gone past Rochester Cathedral when I saw The Band of the RE who at that time were based in Kent form up ready to lead the troops back to their barracks I was transfixed to say the least as I had never seen a brass or military band until then.
What I would say after that I have never looked back as I have been to many Freedom Marches Beat Retreats Navy Days etc the Highllight for me would Be Edingburgh as I have nver been there before but always watched it on Tv.
I am so Proud of the Musicians of todays armed forces and I like many others wish to see the continuation of our Heritage when it comes to our Military bands Lets keep the Bands as they are no more Disbandments
I will be watching the Plymouth band at Birmingham tattoo this Year as its my first visit but next year will be the one for edingburgh.
I hope you all like my story so far there is moore left in the tank.
