'Painless' Jeff

Jeff Baker (Painless Jeff) passed away on 28th October 2009, aged 79.

He lived and worked at his home in Canada Road Walmer for more that 50 years.

I'm sure we all remember the 'Tattoo Inspections' on East Barracks Parade Ground!
Wee Mac

He never got me but was a part of our history.

Never got me either, but I do remember the crackin banger rolls he used to sell, and his opening hours were extremely sociable for a big drunken Jock returning to barracks...

RIP Jeff..

RIP Jeff, never understood how you got away with the 'painless' bit, but my left arm carries a bit of your legacy!

Yep, I was a Jeff Canvas as well... great bloke and a brilliant tattooist in his day. RIP
Hornblower

He got me twice - and then so did the Corps! Those two little works of art cost me dear, but I wouldn't change it.

RIP PJ
