Thanks to all Nelson band for tonight at the Home Club.
I'd do it with you every night if I could.
Shame about the songs There is something about shanties that just.......well I'm sure you're all as sad as I am.

THANKS

Is anyone else doing the Great South Run on Sunday 22nd?
I'll be playing with the brass group by Victoria S/Pool.
See you there....... or anytime - always welcome visitors to the R of R with a cappa and a biscuit, (leftovers from VB Fest meeting on Monday).
Oh and if anyone has not yet heard the VB Festival 2007 is on SAT 14 JUL

Having stayed over at the Home Club a couple of weekends ago, I heard a number of "shanties" being sung, and I think "slung" by the sounds of things during the night. You can always trust old Jollies to re-write the lyrics of age old sea songs....

It would have been my pleasure if I hadn't been working. I assure you I'd have preferred Traf night to doing box office in an unheated Cathedral with poor lighting!
