Must be when, after a sods opera for Charles & Di and being plied with numerous drinks from the wardroom, I awoke with my head hanging out of the hawser hole with the future PDM trying to drag me below before I was seen by anyone else.

Throwing up in a rubbish bin in the main square in Gib while a pongo band was beating retreat. My backside appeared on TV later but luckily not my face (spot the difference).

Sitting in a bar in Portugal with Grints, Ken W-E and Steve Weir slagging off our p**s head bandmaster and being overhead by a CPO from our escort ship who grassed us up. The RM barracks was sparkling for weeks afterwards.

There was a great story about his y fronts disintegrating but maybe I won't go into that here. Pussers rum can do amazing things to your bladder apparently!!

A few years back there was a problem with one of the washing powder brands that had the same effect. Nothing to do with bladders though. Perhaps he was on the development team.

Nothing bleaches the slinkies quite as well as uric acid.. ..Or so they tell me... ....

There was once a famous brand of washing powder that was a sign used by women on the married patch in Rosyth that indicated that their Old Man was Out....
