Sadly Malcolm passed away on 15th December after having caught pneumonia.

His funeral will be at Barham Cremetorium on Tuesday 23 December at 1440 hrs. After at the 'The Railway' Station Rd. Walmer.

I'm sure all our condolences are extended to Jean and Malcolms children Martin and Kerry.

RIP Malc.
Errol

Upsetting news Errol.  Malc was the consummate professional who was extremely smart and respected by all.  A credit to the buglers branch and Band service overall.

I first met Malc about 35 years ago when Depot Corps of Drums augmented Pompy's for the Eastney Tattoo.
Malc became a very good friend to my family and me over the years and we served for the last 7 or 8 years together at Deal. He lived just around the corner and I picked him up and took him to work most days. We had some great ‘runs’ in the mess and particularly the Sgts Mess Panto each year. I think as someone has already mentioned but for the two 'O' level rule Malc would have made an excellent permanent Corps Bugle Major. He was a genuine nice guy and a diplomat, although he would always stick up for the Buglers. I can honestly say that I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him.
Sadly we lost touch for a while when we both left the Marines because of our jobs and both of our personal circumstances.
We made contact again about 18 months ago and I am so glad we did. He was a great bloke, a good friend and I will certainly miss him.
My sincere condolences are extended to Jean, Martin and Kerry.
RIP Malc
