Hi,My name is Nobby Clarke,ex.Band Corporal. My instruments were Flute and Piano.I joined as a Band Boy in 1955,and left due to the redundancies in the seventies.
I am now retired,so have lots of spare time on my hands, some of
which i am using to try and learn how to use this computor. As you can see
i am finding it hard going.
I served in Portsmouth,Plymouth,Singapore and Chatham,and
would be glad to hear from anyone who remembers me.
Bye for now Nobby.

Welcome Nobby... looks like you had a few drafts in your time. If you hit any problems, just ask; knowledge is power, when shared!
With a shared knowledge we should be able to help anyone with computer problems but you have a friend, in whatever program you are having problems with just press the F1 key and a help menu will open.

Hi Andy,The name Wally Walters certainly rings loud bells, but i don,t think he was in my recruit squad.I joined in the January of that year, and we all started off in East Barracks in those days.It was very rough going in those days, but we had to get on with it.One of my mates in my boys wing days was Rodney Coldborne, also a Flute and Piano lad,who i have never heard of or seen for many years. Our flute instructor was Cpl.Charlie Lashmar, who i know went to New Zealand.Piano Professor was Ernie Stride.I went to the last reunion and saw quite a few old faces there.Hope to go again this year.
