Hello everyone .I guess the name might, just possibly, ring a few bells here and there. My 'era' was 1973 until 1984 on Clarinet and Violin at Deal and then tp Plymouth and Ark Royal before Pompeye and the 'Yot ',then I moved on (for my sins, and along with John Wale , Dave Johnson , Geoff Hart , Andy Coward amongst others ) to the RAF . Retired (!!!!) from them in 1997 and have been stuck in Lincolnshire (along with half the exRAF people of the whole world) ever since . Still married to Pat (for the moment !) one kid , (living in Peterborough with fiance) No dogs or pets , still hurtling around the countryside on a motorcycle , still me ! (I think )

Thanks for joining Geoff. You were probably on the yacht whilst I was a young bugler in Fleet and then Deal so our paths never crossed. I was mainly found on Massed Bands whilst the yot band were, well, on the yot
I hope you are able to take an active part in the forum and look forward to your input. There is plenty of room in the dits area if you want to grass, whoops, freudian slip there, tell any of your dits. If you need to, please change the names of the innocent to frame the guilty

Hiya Geoff,

Gilly here, in a previous life, did'nt we serve on the 'Ark Royal' and 'Britannia' together ? Hope you've been keeping well since and, i hope i did'nt bugger your hair up as badly as most of the others i saw the other week at the Sharp's top table ! There's no cure for George Tate unfortunately !

Take care

Gilly.
