Just been passed this information:
Hedley Lock (ex RMB Musician) is not a well person. He has lung cancer in both lungs and a tumour on his kidneys which he hopes to have removed soon. Mr Basstrombone has his Contact address should anyone wish pass on their thoughts and best wishes. Anyone who met Hedley at Portsmouth over the years will know what a jovial chap he is. _________________ http://www.royalmarinesbands.co.uk

Hedley's has had the tumour and a kidney removed. Due to the size of the tumour the procedure took longer than initially thought. Hedley is recovering and was heavily sedated. He had to have a blood transfusion last Sunday because he is anaemic. I'm sure we all wish Hedley a speedy recovery _________________ http://www.royalmarinesbands.co.uk

As of 29th September, Good and bad news.
Hedley is or has been back in hospital this is to reduce the Calcium levels in his blood. Very good news the local Health Aurthority have agreed to fund his treatment in conjunction with the drug manufacturers good news indeed in todays world. Also road users in the Seaford area of Sussex beware Hedley has aquired an Electric Scooter already he has crashed it TWICE, I wonder if he had been to the local???? Finally if anyone is in the Seaford area and would like to visit he apparently would be pleased to see you.
Adios Mi Amigos. See you at the bar next week. _________________ Mr bass trombone |

Good news indeed Mick... let us hope he is able to make it to the next reunion with his motorised scooter. If he sets off now he should be in time for the beat retreat! _________________ http://www.royalmarinesbands.co.uk
