For those unable to attend, the memorial service order of service is attached
Click to download file
If you want to print it out and bring along your own copy please do, there are over 500 orders of service going to be taken so there shouldn't really be any need, these are more for those who can't attend. Also note the back says 'not to be sold or auctioned'... this is aimed at the person who sold one on ebay previously! _________________ http://www.royalmarinesbands.co.uk

Many thanks to everyone involved in this year's reunion. The marching display was excellent.
The Mess needed a bigger bar and one dozen extra bar stewards! _________________ Pusser! |

The bar staffing was an issue but it was working on the 1:30 ratio which, under normal circumstances, works well. I suppose that the RMBS just drinks quicker and more than your usual customer.
The display was, as already mentioned, stunning, well done the School of Music Band! _________________ http://www.royalmarinesbands.co.uk

| Any chance of we mere mortals in the lower part of the globe being able to see any pickies of the occasion. Sounds as though it was a great do. Now all we here in Oz have to do, is try to persuade more of you to try and join us at the less in size, but no less in endeavors, little do in Adelaide in March 2010 |

Jazzy thing in the bar???????
Was there music being played?????
All I could hear in the mess, was the loud babble of 250 boozed up ex RMBS personnel pleased to be able to 'swing the lamp' 'tell dits' 'recount runs ashore' or 'slag off someone' once again.....!
(I must confess to being one of them) _________________ .

I've managed to put some up on my Facebook. Not sure how to do it on here, and I know, it was never a problem in the past.
A great night, and weekend.
Thanks to Ash for organising a well run do, except for the obvious.
All aboard for next year then? |
