Thought I would take advantage of this Forum......

http://www.thejazzwhistlerpicturecompany.com/

This belongs to my brother, a retired Master-at-Arms, who now runs a small working Studio in SE London.

With any luck he will be looking to visit the RMSM in the near future to explore musical instruments and produce detailed paintings. There is an example of a cello in a large room (my 50th birthday present) on the commissions page and a few paintings of string instrument pegs/bridges etc.

He has a number of pictures, and prints of them, in 'Artists' Harbour' Storehouse 9 in Pompey's Historic Dockyard. Worth a look, plug, plug!

More than possibly in Gib. He used to sketch potraits and cartoons for oppos to send home but never made any cash from his artwork because he never took it seriously.

Going to call in on his 'stall' today at Pompey's Festival of Christmas.
