Welcome Dave.
I am a Scotland Band refugee down here now. I loved Scotland (the fishing was brilliant in the Ochills!) but was crap at skiing We have Jock up in Newtonmore (he is our Highlands rep) who is a Guiness addict. The General and Rab are also north of the wall... you could have a Scotland chapter of the Royal Marines Bands Chat Forum

Burns night in the mess on the 30th so we'll be with you in spirit (mainly Glenfiddich!)

Hi Dave,
I don't know you personally, but George Morrison told me all about you and your Police outpost off the A68. All of the stuff was good of course! Another Horn player as well(?) from what I remember!

Good to meet you,

Jos

Hi dave

I`m up in the wastelands of Caithness stationed at Thurso.
Remember I bumped into you about 12 years ago when you were carrying out a foot patrol on some big shopping centre thingy place. I was down at the sick kids Hospital with my daughter Becky who was 6 months old then. She had a heart op and never looked back.

Good to hear you found a Hamish Macbeath type slot. Nearly retired??

Catch up with the crack later buddy

Andy

I still have some embarassing photos and or dits about you !!!

Say hello back.

Hello everyone again, My main message is to Mark or Pis# Biddlecombe. How are you old man, what a shame we weren't Rosyths answer to the Jam, but by Christ we emptied the optics at the Elizabethan. I'm sorry I've no idea where Lou is. I have been in Edinburgh and the Borders for years following everyone to think I am a polis man.
The good news is I have a copy of the tape of the Xmas hit of whenever it was. How about a deal, you send me the Elizabethan tapes and I'll send you the Xmas tapes.
Andy, I remember meeting you in Kinnaird Park, Edinburgh. I am pleased to hear the wee one is OK.
Is that Twink Starr out there.
Well Guinness is calling and George Morrison will probably phone and harrass me, Cheers to everyone , Davie Smale.

Cheers matey

Hey Mark do you remember doing a Dnace Band gig in Prestwick, HMS Gannet. Where we enjoyed a refreshing Baileys on the way. I think I was P1s5ed before I got off the coach. Oh Happy daze.

I was going to mention the Baileys earlier. Was it a bottle each as an aperitif, on the coach ?
